Sen. Merkley visits PCC’s Cascade Campus

The tour on Sept. 2 by Sen. Merkley was a fact-finding mission at the Cascade Campus (705 N. Killingsworth St.) to see what PCC was doing on the workforce development front.
Heidi Meyer, PCC 911 instructor, details to Sen. Merkley how the program taps into live 911 dispatch calls to help students and to provide support if the county 9-1-1 system were to go down.
