Transform old furniture from trash to treasure

PORTLAND, Ore. – Whether you are looking for a country motif or the sophistication of Fifth Avenue, painted furniture can add just the right touch to your décor. Join Portland Community College this spring for a fun and creative non-credit class that will turn your worn-out furniture into customized works of art.

Painted Furniture transforms old, tired furniture into art you can use. Whatever your skill level, instructor and artist Dawn McConnell will guide you through the process of painting furniture as you decorate a small piece of furniture.

The class will meet from 6:30 to 9 p.m., Thursdays, April 6 through June 1, in Room MAHB 109, at the PCC Cascade Campus, 705 N. Killingsworth St. Cost is $115.
