Font Design Workshop 2: Birdfont Basics Monday, Tuesday, & Wednesday May 4th, 5th, & 6th After attending Part 1 or if you already know how to make shapes in Adobe Illustrator or another vector graphics program, come and learn the basics of importing character designs into the Birdfont font editor, adjusting kerning, and producing a font file. The workshop is available between 11:00 AM - 4:00 PM and can take 30 to 45 minutes. No cost. No appointment necessary. Font Design Workshop 1: Illustrator Basics Monday, Wednesday, & Thursday April 27th, 29th, & 30th Come and learn the basics of using the pen, line, and shape tools in Adobe Illustrator to design letter shapes for a typeface or font design and prepare your designs to import into a font editor. Part 2 will involve importing character designs into the font editor and making a font. The workshop is available between 11:00 AM - 4:00 PM and can take 30 to 45 minutes. No cost.
