I accidentally dropped alcohol onto a separate watercolor that I'd been working on. The alcohol caused the still wet watercolor to bleed out in an interesting way which reminded me of avocados. Thus the Avocados rose.

The background is a vibrant blue that fades into a light blue in the middle. Giant cacti and other plants are abstractly painted in dark greens in the middle ground. Two abstracted tan women, one facing front with emphasized breast, left shoulder, and foot, while another sits in profile with emphasis on the feet and thigh.

A watercolor painting depicting an underwater trail. The foreground contains a couple of rocks tinted in yellow, red, and blue colors, a signpost, and a tree. The background contains several blurred trees. A gravel path winds from the foreground to the background, and continuing down the path quickly leads to a foggy background. Small debris surrounds the scene. Near the top of the painting, refracted color and wave lines can be seen.
