This photograph was inspired by artist Thomas Herbich who spends years capturing the perfect smoke photo. Using an empty paper towel roll, a flashlight inside the towel roll, and black backdrops I was able to get this. I used blowing techniques on the smoke, to get the smoke to look the way I wanted it to before capturing it.
