My painting was a class project to create an inverse landscape with the still life with the landscape in the background. I focused on the vase and the sunflowers while having a sunflower field in the background. The landscape was influenced by a Van Gogh sunflower painting by David Pyatt. I love sunflowers, because one of my favorite photos is my dad’s sunflower field.
