This is my first hummingbird watercolor using the concept wet on wet and light and dark contract. Anna’s Hummingbirds have reddish-pink feathers that cover the adult male’s head. The female Anna's hummingbirds have a green crown, back, and tail. Like many other species, I feel hummingbird couples do things together as a love connection. The apple flowers represent their connection.
