This painting was elevated and inspired by one of Van Gogh's works the "Memory of the Garden at Etten (Ladies of Arles)". The main concept was showing how things have changed when covid happened in 2021. I focused on bold colors and mark-making.

This is a watercolor image of some succulents, a cactus, and a small house figure in a windowsill, dramatically backlit by the incoming daylight.
