For this piece I used the watercolor technique 'glazing' in which many transparent washes of paint are layered to add depth and atmosphere. The focus of this piece is the isolation you feel as a young queer person living in a small town. (Inspired by the movie "The Blue Hour" by Anucha Boonyawatana.)
