Class project creating and using a collage as visual reference using graphite and black color pencil. I started by drawing light line gestures to establish the arrangement and cropping of the forms in the collage. Then used gesture to observe and do the range of values from white of the paper to worked on dark values. This image is a representation of connection with mother earth, the resistance and empowerment of women and the fight for gender equality and reproduction rights.
