This image shows my girlfriend holding a treasure that I discovered buried in grass and wild roses during an ecological restoration project last week. I love that the ball was hidden in the grass for long enough to host its own life; there were plants beautifully growing out of it in all directions. This image was taken at Tryon Community Farm in SW Portland, during an Indigenous-lead land restoration project centered around reintroducing native plants and removing invasive species.
