Program Overview

Group of Future Connect+ studentsHow does FC+ work?

FC+ initial two terms
All students begin in a learning community of 20-25 students. In the first term, students take Reading 115, Writing 115, College Survival and Success (CG 100) and an additional course of the student’s choosing. These courses include learning projects that integrate the material of the classes. Each learning community is supported by a College Success Coach and a team of instructors who works intensively with each student.
Students then progress as a learning community in their second term. As a cohort, they take Writing 121, an Alternative Learning Course in Writing, and a class called Today’s Careers (CG 130) along with other courses chosen with their coach’s assistance.
