Oregon Oral Radiology Proficiency Certification Prep Course
Learn hands on skills and prepare for the Oregon Radiation Health and Safety exam
The Oregon Oral Radiology Proficiency Certification preparation course is for dental assistants and those with dental office experience who want to become certified in Oregon.
Our RHS prep course is convenient with our combined online didactic learning, and weekend hands-on lab classes. This course meets criteria to take Oregon’s Clinical and Didactic Radiologic Proficiency Exam administered by the Dental Assisting National Board (DANB).
Students must be currently working as a dental assistant, or office staff to become radiology certified in the State of Oregon.
Time commitment for this course consists of 30 hours didactic, and 16 hours of hands on in the PCC Dental Radiology lab.
Didactic information will be accessed through Desire2Learn, PCC’s on-line method to deliver education. Additional literature, assignments and quizzes are used outside the classroom to enhance course materials.
