Course Description

Provides an opportunity to develop and complete required application materials for field experience internship. Covers interviewing skills, resume development, developing achievable learning goals, and time management. Prerequisites: HUS 101, HUS 102, HUS 106, HUS 108, HUS 121, HUS 131, HUS 141, and (WR 115 and RD 115) or IRW 115 and MTH 20 or equivalent placement. Prerequisites/concurrent: HUS 151.

Intended Outcomes for the course

Upon successful completion of the course, students should be able to:

  1. Submit the application for admittance into the HUS field education program.
  2. Identify, interview, and select a field experience placement site.
