Course Description

Process improvement leadership is needed for organizations to solve problems and make significant change. This workshop develops the necessary skills, including motivating employees, clarifying goals, applying design thinking, identifying key collaborators, removing barriers to change and communicating engagingly.

Intended Outcomes for the course

Employ the natural motivations of knowledge workers. 
Turn good ideas into rallying cries.
Increase the emotional impact of waste caused by present business processes. 
Clarify high-value objectives. 
Apply design thinking to create new solutions. 
Turn initial excitement into insightful thinking and actionable plans. 
Identify key collaborators inside and outside their organizational neighborhood. Identify emotional processes associated with change. 
Guide teams in planning the organizational shifts that must accompany significant change. 
Speak out loud about what’s challenging and how they intend to meet their challenges. 
Recognize when things aren’t going right enough and make rapid adjustments.
