Course Description
This module reviews the situational risks for infectious diseases and for high-risk envenomations. You will explore the unique assessments and interventions for these problems that are more often encountered in remote settings.
Intended Outcomes for the course
Participants who successfully complete this course will be able to:
1. outline the components of a rapid assessment and the appropriate interventions and pharmacologic agents for a pediatric patient with either an infectious disease or envenomation.
2. identify specific management for potential complications.
