Course Description
This module explores the specific assessments and diagnostic techniques for children and infants experiencing critical medical or trauma conditions. You will learn specific interventions for acutely ill and injured pediatric patients in a remote setting.
Intended Outcomes for the course
Participants who successfully complete this course will be able to:
1. outline the components of a rapid assessment and the appropriate interventions and pharmacologic agents for a pediatric patient with either acute medical or trauma conditions.
2. identify specific management for potential complications.
