Course Description
This workshop will provide participants with information and techniques they can apply in their professional practice of working with older adults.
Intended Outcomes for the course
1. Identify basic physiologic causes of aging
2. Describe factors affecting normal age-related changes as well as functional, cognitive,
psychological and social declines that occur over a lifespan
3. Discuss therapeutic interventions
4. Demonstrate an ability to apply what was learned in the classroom to the workplace
