Course Description
Prep for didactic & clinical tests to become dental radiology certified in Oregon. Lectures online with onsite clinical lab. Students required to provide three of their own patients for full-mouth radiographic surveys. Students who do not meet competency expectations will be required to take an additional 6-hr lab.
Intended Outcomes for the course
• Execute safe use of x-ray equipment and follow prescribed oral radiographic procedures.
• Meet criteria to take Oregon’s Clinical and Didactic Radiologic Proficiency Exam administered by the Dental Assisting National Board (DANB)
