Course Description
Designed for healthcare providers who participate in cardiopulmonary arrest and have NOT completed an ACLS Course or are expired. With intstruction and participation in cases, students will learn management of cardiac arrest, symptomatic arrhythmias and post cardiac arrest care. This course includes a BLS update.
Intended Outcomes for the course
Participants who successful complete this course will be able to:
1. Participate as active and contributing team member or leader in adult emergency cardiovascular care situations.
2. Recognize the indication for and apply appropriate and effective interventions that follow current AHA ACLS/ECC guidelines.
