Course Description
Covers skills required to demonstrate and teach resistance training exercises. Introduces training principles, a variety of resistance methods, and muscular fitness program design. Audit available.
Intended Outcomes for the course
Upon completion of the course students should be able to:
- Describe various resistance training methods, principles, and equipment.
- Demonstrate safe and effective resistance training techniques for every major muscle group when training clients.
- Apply effective teaching strategies in resistance training instruction.
- Design resistance training programs based on client goals and industry standards.
