Course Description

Exercises and activities which strengthen and condition specific large muscle groups, improve cardiovascular fitness and flexibility. Audit available.

Addendum to Course Description

Each student supplies his/her own clothing. Clothing should be loose and comfortable fitting for exercise. Shoes are mandatory and should be designed for walking or jogging.

  1. Practice warm up and cool down
  2. Demonstrate exercises for individual programs
  3. Operate exercise equipment safely using proper technique
  4. Demonstrate safe and appropriate program progression of exercises
