Course Description
Introduces the operation, troubleshooting, servicing, and maintenance of various types of equipment and tools used in dental equipment technology. Audit available.
Intended Outcomes for the course
Upon completion of the course students should be able to:
- Service and maintain dental equipment.
- Troubleshoot dental equipment failures.
Outcome Assessment Strategies
Assessment methods are to be determined by the instructor. Typically, in class exams, quizzes, homework and lab assignments, class participation, and presentations may be used.
