Course Description

Designed for criminal justice agencies offering special topic seminars to meet the information and training needs of local criminal justice agencies. Audit available.

Intended Outcomes for the course

Due to the fact that the seminars are of varied content, it is not possible to state, in the Course Content Guide, instructional goals and defined outcomes which would result from the various seminars. However, in the information presented to the Dean, the Department Chairman will give a sample of the learning outcomes which are intended to be accomplished as a result of the seminar.  

Course Activities and Design

The activities and design of each seminar will be dependent upon the nature of a given seminar content. Typical seminars involve lectures, discussions, demonstrations, field trips, and the use of multiple audio visual presentations.

Outcome Assessment Strategies

Evaluation procedures will be discussed during the first meeting of the seminar.
