Course Description
Intended Outcomes for the course
Upon successful completion of the course, students should be able to:
- Read and recognize some words, phrases, and simple sentences that are written in Chinese.
- Write words, phrases, and simple sentences about a limited number of familiar topics.
- Speak about a limited number of familiar topics using practiced or memorized words and phrases.
- Listen and recognize familiar and memorized words in spoken Chinese.
- Recognize some basic Chinese cultural products and practices related to everyday life.
