Course Description
Intended Outcomes for the course
1. critically analyze the methods and theories associated with a specific topic within the field of anthropology.
2. reflect on how personal and social values are shaped by culture at the local and global level
3. use an understanding of the specific topic to gain a greater appreciation for cultural expression or the discipline of anthropology as a whole.

Student mastery of outcomes may be assessed by any combination of the following:
1. written or oral examinations
2. participation in class discussion, exercises, small group activities or role plays
3. objective or essay examinations
