Course Description
Covers the content of the OSHA 30-hour Construction Training course as a comprehensive safety program. Provides complete information on OSHA compliance issues. Corequisites: APR 200A and APR 200C.
Addendum to Course Description
Students who successfully complete the OSHA 30 hour course and meet the OSHA attendance requirement will be issued a Federal OSHA 30 hour certificate of completion.
Intended Outcomes for the course
Upon completion of the course students should be able to:
- Identify major hazards in a construction setting.
- Describe types of hazards in a construction setting.
- Identify how to protect oneself from major hazards in a construction setting.
- Evaluate employer requirements that protect workers from construction hazards against OSHA standards.
