Updated regulations for digital accessibility
Learn about new rules that make state and local government websites, apps, and online content accessible to people with disabilities. The Department of Justice (DOJ) created this rule under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). It applies to PCC, and the deadline to follow the rules is April 2026. Read more about our Digital Accessibility policy, get guidance, and training.
Accessibility
We’re here to help you with accessibility. If you need accommodations, need to report accessibility barriers, ask questions, or need help understanding our policies, we’re ready to assist. PCC is committed to making sure everyone has equal access to education and employment at PCC.
Engagement
There are trainings and resources to help you learn about accessibility, a glossary to explain important terms, and you can even request custom presentations. Learn about the Accessibility Council and committees, accessibility events, and our student-led Disability Cultural Alliance.
Accountability
Our Comprehensive Transition Plan is the long-term and living plan to address accessibility barriers with the ultimate goal of providing equitable experiences for all members of the PCC community. The Plan outlines priorities to assess and enhance college spaces over time, including physical, digital, and programmatic. Priorities for the Plan are guided by the desire to ensure that college spaces are inclusive, flexible, and accessible to the widest audience possible.
