Platforms
The public website (pcc.edu) isn’t the best place for all types of content – everything on the website is intended for the general public. We have three platforms to choose from when putting content online, which are ideal for different types of content:
Public website
The public website is best for:
- Content intended for students, faculty, staff, and the general public
- Content that doesn’t require credentials to view
- Tutorials for student processes
Spaces
Spaces is best for:
- Documentation such as meeting notes and agendas
- Document archives
- Tutorials for faculty and staff processes
Note: Pages in Spaces can be made public. If your documentation needs to be visible to everyone, Spaces is still the place to put it – not the public website.
The Intranet
The Intranet is best for:
- Content that needs to be visible only to PCC faculty and staff
