REMINDERS:  Unit 2 Test on Monday 2/19 after CALL class
What we will learn this week:  After our test, we will start another section of our textbook, Unit 6 — Safety at Work.  We move from present simple to present continuous/progressive.  Over the next couple of weeks, we will explore parts of speech & sentence patterns.

  • (First,) we will watch the video
  • (Next,) discuss with your partner the things that happened in the video.
  • (Then,) in your blue book answer the following (wh-) questions:
  1.  What is the story about? (What happens in the story?). — Write at least 5 sentences
  2.  Were the little birds friendly to the tall, skinny blue bird? Why or why not?
  3. How did the story end?
  4. Was it a good ending?  Why or why not?
