Self-reflection:  How are you doing in Level 2? (handout)

WHAT WE WILL DO THIS WEEK:

We will continue with Unit 9 and practice the past tense verbs in both our writing and speaking.   Speaking Assessments Part 1 & Part 2 begins on Wednesday, May 27th.
We will look at how you think you are doing in this term’s Level 2 class.   You will have a couple of handouts to help you answer this question.

Homework due on Wednesday: 05/27:

Unit 9 is all about the past tense verb.  For your last writing assignment, choose only one (1) topic to write about.  Write 8 – 10 sentences.

  • Write about a happy memory that happened to you in the past.
  • Write about a time when you had a scary experience.
  • Write about a time when you had a funny experience.
Your paragraph should have the following information:

  • When did it happen?
  • What happened?  Write more than 1 sentence to describe the things that happened.
  • Who was there?
  • How did you feel?
  • What made you feel that way?
  • How did it end?

Please do not use Google translate to write your sentences. You can look up words if you do not know them in English.
