What we will study this week:   We will explore resources available to PCC evening students and take a walking tour of our campus. We will continue to review basic English grammar skills and finish the Welcome Unit of the textbook.  We will study other present simple tense verbs.

Homework: Due Monday, 04/15 – Week 3.  In your BlueBook. Write 6 -10 sentences about yourself.  Answer the following questions:
  1. What is your name?  What does it mean in your language?
  2. How do you say “Hello, how are you?”
  3. Where are you from?  What is your nationality?
  4. Are you married or single?  Who do you live with?
  5. Do you live in Portland? Gresham? or Clackamas?
  6. Name ONE thing that you like.  (For example:  I like sunny days and gardening.  I like sushi. I like to spend time with my family and friends.  I like to sleep on weekends. — whatever you want to say, I like sunny days and spend time outdoors.)
  7. Name ONE thing that you DON’T like.  (For example, I don’t like the dentist.  I don’t like very cold and wet weather.)
  8. Why are you studying English?
  9. Is this your first time in Level 2?
  10. What do you want to learn in Level 2?
