PCC Nursing Program

The PCC Nursing Program is designed to prepare the student to be licensed as a registered nurse (RN). RNs deliver bedside nursing care to clients in a variety of healthcare settings. They assess the health of the client, diagnose nursing problems, and plan, implement and evaluate nursing care. Providing nursing care requires technical as well as interpersonal and clinical thinking skills. A nursing career is both challenging and rewarding.

PCC Nursing Program graduates earn an Associate of Applied Science Degree in Nursing. The program is accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) and the Oregon State Board of Nursing.

PCC's Nursing Program is a limited entry program. A student must be accepted into the Nursing Program to register for nursing courses. To apply, visit the Health Professional Admissions office in Sylvania CC 208 or call 971-722-4795.
