Timelines for training, development, and revision
Requests for instructor training and takeover are being accepted through fall 2021. Requests for developments and revisions through winter 2022 are also being accepted at this time.

What can you request now?
Instructor training for teaching from a shared shell:
- for a summer 2021 teach term (request by February 15th)
- for a fall 2021 teach term (request by May 15th)
Request for a teaching from a shared shell (training completed):
- for a winter 2021 teach term (request immediately)
- for a spring 2021 teach term (request by February 15th)
How long does it take to get an instructor trained to teach from a shareable course?
1 – 2 terms total – plan one term for training and the instructor can teach the next term.
How long does it take to get an instructor trained and a course developed or revised?
3 terms total – plan one term for training and two terms for development. The course can be taught at the end of three terms.
How long does it take to have a trained instructor develop or revise a course?
2 terms total – plan two terms for development or revision of the course. The course can be taught at the end of two terms.
