James Hill

James G. Hill, an award-winning journalist and public relations writer, is the Director of Public Relations at Portland Community College. A graduate of Portland State University, James has worked as a section editor for the Newberg Graphic, Woodburn Independent, Clackamas Review, Oregon City News, The Dalles Daily Chronicle and the Associated Press. Born in Hillsboro, James is a native Oregonian through and through, having lived in Portland and Sunriver most of his life. Today, he manages the PCC website content, the college magazine "Communities" and public relations and crisis communications projects.

Apple, PCC pick multimedia student
CASCADE CAMPUS - Portland Community College's Multimedia program at the Cascade Campus teamed with Apple Computer to honor talented PCC students. Twenty-one students entered projects in a contest that was judged by Apple employees and PCC staff and faculty. Building community with her art
PCC art instructor Marie Watt explores the meaning of community through her artwork "Braids," which was on display at the Smithsonian's National Museum of the American Indian in New York City last fall. It is currently on display at Lewis and Clark's College's Hoffman Gallery through Feb. 19.
