James Hill

James G. Hill, an award-winning journalist and public relations writer, is the Director of Public Relations at Portland Community College. A graduate of Portland State University, James has worked as a section editor for the Newberg Graphic, Woodburn Independent, Clackamas Review, Oregon City News, The Dalles Daily Chronicle and the Associated Press. Born in Hillsboro, James is a native Oregonian through and through, having lived in Portland and Sunriver most of his life. Today, he manages the PCC website content, the college magazine "Communities" and public relations and crisis communications projects.

Signature building nears completion at PCC-Cascade
PORTLAND, Ore. - The final piece to the Cascade 2000 construction bond puzzle is nearing completion the Daniel F. Moriarty Arts and Humanities Building. The facility is named after former PCC President Dan Moriarty, who retired from the college in 2001 after 15 years at the helm of the states largest institution of higher education. Dental Hygiene students get a clean bill of academic health
PORTLAND, Ore. - Good news for teeth everywhere 19 highly qualified dental hygienists are coming your way. The Dental Hygiene program, located at PCC's southwest Portland Sylvania Campus, graduated 19 students from its program in June.
