Sixty-two nursing students were pinned on Saturday, June 11, at the annual Nursing Program’s Pinning Ceremony. Nurse pinning has been a welcoming ceremony for new nurses since the 12th century when nurses were given badges for nursing injured soldiers. It later evolved into giving pins to new nurses.
