Next Term Retention
The Next Term Retention report, embedded below, allows questions such as the following to be explored:
- Is fall to winter term retention higher, lower, or the same as winter to spring term retention?
- Are full-time students more or less likely to return the following term, compared to part-time students?
- Are there any differences found in retention when disaggregated by gender or race/ethnicity?
This report includes all students enrolled for credit in a term, and is not limited to a specific cohort of first-time students found in YESS retention. Students are counted in retention rates if they re-enroll for credit the next term (“retained”), or if they earn a PCC degree or certificate before the end of the next term (“completed”).
