AAS - Animation & Motion Graphics

Degree Outcomes
Communication. Communicate vision, workflow and planning effectively through collaboration in a media production pipeline. Evaluate media and conventions of storytelling with attention to accessibility, and inclusivity.
Storytelling. Craft and develop production materials, to create community-relevant stories with conventional, and emerging technologies, techniques, and media.
Collaboration. Contribute effectively in team positions on projects with diverse participants.
Animation, Stop Motion, 3D Modeling. Demonstrate technical fluency in animation, stop motion, and 3D modeling software and emerging and conventional industry tools.
Motion Graphics, Compositing, Design. Demonstrate technical fluency in motion graphics, compositing, and multimedia design with industry-standard software
Professional Fluency. Evaluate and work effectively within different organizational structures, cultures, and expectations.

AAS - Multimedia AAS Degree

Degree Outcomes
Plan, research, evaluate, revise, write, create, and produce content-appropriate multimedia projects using a variety of methods and industry-standard tools.
Apply basic elements and principles of design to multimedia projects.
Prepare and present a multimedia portfolio demonstrating a personal marketing plan on analysis of employment availability and trends in the multimedia industry.
Create and edit media elements using industry standard software, optimized for delivery methods such as: graphics, animation, sound, video, game design, and motion graphics to develop, enhance, and extend the features of multimedia projects.
Work effectively in group- and team-based multimedia project environments.
Apply the essential features of project management including: scheduling, estimating, marketing, prototyping, budgeting, assessment, testing, quality assurance, determining specifications, and developing proposals.

AAS - Video Production & Emerging Media AAS Degree

Degree Outcomes

Storytelling. Craft and develop production materials, to create community-relevant stories with conventional, and emerging technologies, techniques, and media.
Collaboration. Contribute effectively in crew positions on projects with diverse participants.
Technical Fluency. Demonstrate technical fluency with industry field and studio video equipment, including camera operation, lighting, sound recording, emerging tools and best safety practices.
Post Production. Demonstrate skills with industry software and workflow including video editing, sound design, compositing, motion graphics and color grading.
Professional Competency. Develop and present a professional portfolio and work effectively in varied employer environments.

ACERT1 - Multimedia One-Year Certificate

Degree Outcomes
Plan, research, evaluate, revise, write, create, and produce content-appropriate interactive multimedia projects using a variety of methods and industry-standard tools.
Apply basic elements and principles of design to multimedia projects.
Create and edit media elements using industry-standard software, and optimize for delivery methods such as; graphics, animation, sound, video, 3D modeling, and motion graphics to develop, enhance, and extend the features of multimedia projects.
Prepares the foundation of digital content creation and delivery which exhibits professional multimedia standards and methods to qualify for entry-level employment.
Develop a focused skill-set in a specialty area of multimedia, i.e., instructional design, multimedia writing, project management, graphic production, interactive media, 3D environments, compositing and animation.
