Course Description

Requirements for safety on the job site, Occupational Safety and Health Act and other related regulations and legislation, accident prevention and hazard identification and procedures. Audit available.

Intended Outcomes for the course

  • Develop specific written injury and illness prevention programs
  • Use available resources to comply with the Oregon Safe Employment Act and related Administrative Rules

  • Work collaboratively and individually to produce subject specific elements of a comprehensive written safety and health program.
  •  Successfully complete a written Hazard Communications program
  •  Successfully complete a written Fall Protection Work Plan
