Course Description

Covers basic information of flight applications as they relate to careers as a professional unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) pilot.

Addendum to Course Description

This course is an introductory examination of various jobs and applications related to uses of UAS. 

Intended Outcomes for the course

Upon completion of the course students will be able to:

  • Analyze a variety of unmanned aircraft vehicles (UAVs) and their uses.

  • Identify industries and professions currently using UAS technology.

  • Examine UAS data collection methods being used in various industries.
