Course Description

Introduces the principles, practices, models, and issues involved in case management. Covers skill development, including assessment, intake interviewing, service delivery, and information management. Audit available.

Intended Outcomes for the course

Upon completion of the course students should be able to:

  • Understand the basic context, role, framework and application of case management.
  • Examine the concepts and ethical considerations of case management as applied to the needs of diverse populations.
  • Apply an understanding of case management processes through interviewing, active listening, consultation, and disseminating critical information.
