Intended Outcomes for the course

Students who successfully complete this course will be able to:

  1. Use medical documentation in diagnostic reports.

  2. Analyze diagnostic reports and make connections between the diagnostic procedure and what is being stated in the documentation.

  3. Research and access reference materials to obtain information on diagnostic technology.

Outcome Assessment Strategies

Students will demonstrate these learning outcomes by these tasks conducted individually and in cooperation with other students:

  1. Perform search activities such as Internet", libraries and other databases.

  2. Successful completion of assigned modules are outlined on the lab schedule
