Course Description
Introduces professional software for digital image editing, photo manipulation, and layer compositing of raster art. Emphasizes file formats, techniques, and tools used by graphic designers.
Intended Outcomes for the course
Upon completion of the course students should be able to:
- Set up documents to specifications required for professional quality output.
- Utilize color systems, screen resolution and file formats defined by industry standards.
- Navigate and manipulate the software interface using professional practices and procedures.
- Apply professional methods of image selection, editing and layer management.
