Course can also be used to meet the Washington State licensing renewal requirements through the WA/OR reciprocity agreement. A Course Completion Certificate for continuing education will be issued upon request to any participant who successfully passes the course. Attendance rosters will be sent to the state for certification purposes. Please note that the electrician's license renewal fee is not included in the cost of the course. A current National Electric Code Book is required.

• Students will find NEC change charts in the index of text and article number changes
• Students will identify the strict use of green and white wires as they relate to services, washer and dryer, floating homes, animal care areas
• Students will demonstrate the ways variables are recorded as related to code article language, why exceptions to the basic rule will no longer be used, and tell why the basic rule will be restated with the variable included.

A lecture course in which the students locate code articles and become familiar with the differences between current and previous year code articles.

Procedures will be discussed at the first class session. Assessment will be based on attendance for all scheduled class hours, and participation and group assignments.
