Course Description

Covers fundamental principles of human anatomy and physiology as they relate to the care of patients in the dental setting. Introduces dental embryology, microbiology and pathology.

Intended Outcomes for the course

Use knowledge of basic oral and general anatomy/physiology to assist in the assessment of a patient's general and oral health prior to dental treatment procedures.
