Course Description

Continues the Visual Basic.NET Programming sequence utilizing relational database access, multiple document interface and software objects and classes. Structured design techniques emphasized throughout. Recommended: CIS 233B, 275; or instructor permission. Audit available.

·       Develop a portfolio project

·       Work in a team environment

·       Use UML tools to design a significant project

·       Implement a business application term project using the SDLC

·       Implement class modules

·       Implement a project using N-tier architecture

·       Write a data class using ADO.Net objects and SQL statements

·       Demonstrate processing of a server database

·       Implement Active X DLL (in-process) and Active X EXE (out-of-process) code components

·       Use collections
