Course Description
Intended Outcomes for the course
Upon successful completion of the course, students should be able to:
- Read and identify the topic and related information from simple texts written in Chinese.
- Write sentences and some connected sentences about familiar topics and situations.
- Speak about familiar topics and everyday situations using simple sentences and appropriate follow-up questions.
- Listen and identify the topic and related information from short talks and conversations in Chinese.
- Identify some differences between one's own cultures and Chinese cultural products and practices.
