Course Description
Learn Practice of Pharmacy, Pharmacy Law, Regulations, Standards, basic pharmacology, therapeutic drug classes, body systems, common conditions, diseases, related medical terminology, generic /brand drug names, common dosage forms, routes of administration. Lessons supported by weekly lab activities.
Intended Outcomes for the course
1. Demonstrate familiarity with commonly used drugs, classes, mechanisms of actions and therapeutic uses.
2. Demonstrate understanding of Healthcare occupations and the healthcare delivery system.
