Course Description
Covers OSHA construction safety requirements and common hazards, including fall protection, electrical, scaffolding, ladders, excavations, tools, and vehicles. Awards an OSHA 10-Hour Construction card from OSHA.
Intended Outcomes for the course
Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
Explain general safety as applied to OSHA standards
Demonstrate the basics of fall protection and prevention.
Identify signs, signals, and barricades.
Identify and demonstrate proper use of lifesaving equipment.
